It is not sufficient if we use the right essential oils. What is important is how we use them and what precautions we take. Essential oils and base oils can be used in a number of ways.
Beginners and those who are new to aromatherapy should always start with low doses and upon seeing how your body and mind reacts you can slowly increase the number of drops / dosage. Also make sure that you do not use essential oils and delve into aromatherapy everyday. Give it a break once in every four days.
Only certain essential
oils should be avoided during pregnancy. Those who suffer from epilepsy
or have ovarian or uterine growths or cancer should avoid use of essential
oils. Certain oils may irritate sensitive skin. It is always advisable to
do a Patch test first on your skin and then use the oils. Always follow the
instructions given by a qualified aroma therapist.
