SUMMER
BATH - Most
famous beauties have had extravagant bath recipes, containing ingredients
such as crushed strawberries and champagne, but the simple addition of essential
oils can make a bath equally luxurious. If you do not have a bath tub, an
aromatherapy shower also works wonders.
Oils to be used in Summer : Peppermint, Orange, Petitgrain, Mandarin, Basil, Lemon, Lavender, Geranium.
The Art of taking an Aromatic Bath - A simplest of bathroom can be filled with life with a few candles, relaxing instrumental music and warm fluffy towels to wrap you in.
Skin
Brushing :
Before you climb into your scented bath or step into the shower, take a few
minutes to stimulate the circulation by brushing your skin with a natural
fibre skin brush or glove. Use brisk, circular movements all over the body,
bringing fresh blood to the surface, removing dead cells and unclogging pores.
Preparing
the Bath :
Step 1: Fill
bath tub with water of normal temperature, or cool if preferred.
Step 2: While the bath is filling up, prepare your choice of a synergy (a
combination of essential oils). Mix in small bottle or dish. Place dish on
side of the tub, but do not add essential oils/synergy to water yet!
Step 3: Once the tub is nearly full, get into the bath.
Step 4: Once you are in the bath, add your synergy to the bath and swish water
around with you hand.
Step 5: Relax for approximately 20 -30 minutes.
Step 6: Once you are finished bathing make sure you drink lots of water for
hydration and to support the body detoxification process.
Fragrant Showering
:
If you prefer
a shower to a bath, you can still enjoy the benefits of aromatheraphy by dissolving
a total of 12 drops made up of three of your favourite essential oils in 30
ml liquid soap.
You can have an Aromatic Bath in morning or night as it suits you.
